Daikin Aircond Prices 2026 — The Complete Model Guide
If you are shopping for a Daikin air conditioner, prices vary widely depending on the model, the horsepower and the type of installation. This article collects every current 2026 price so you can compare properly before you buy.
Daikin is the best-selling air conditioner brand in Malaysia, holding roughly 26% of the market. That popularity comes down to three things: the units last, they are cheap to run, and service is available nationwide.
Daikin Inverter Wall Mounted Prices 2026
Wall mounted inverter units are the most popular choice for homes. Prices below include standard installation (bracket, 10ft of piping and wiring):
| Model | 1.0HP | 1.5HP | 2.0HP | 2.5HP | 3.0HP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SMARTO (Premium) | RM2,180 | RM2,580 | RM3,680 | RM4,100 | RM4,980 |
| FTKM (Mid-Range) | RM1,980 | RM2,380 | RM3,380 | RM3,800 | RM4,580 |
| BLUVI (Budget Inverter) | RM1,760 | RM2,200 | RM3,250 | RM3,670 | RM4,430 |
| FTKF | RM1,680 | RM2,100 | RM3,100 | RM3,500 | RM4,200 |
| FTKB (Entry Inverter) | RM1,580 | RM1,980 | RM2,980 | RM3,380 | RM4,080 |
* Prices include the unit plus standard installation. Extra piping is charged at RM30-50 per foot depending on the model.
Daikin Non-Inverter Prices 2026
If the budget is tight but you still want a Daikin, the non-inverter FTV-P Series is the entry point:
| Model | 1.0HP | 1.5HP | 2.0HP | 2.5HP | 3.0HP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FTV-P (Non-Inverter) | RM1,480 | RM1,780 | RM2,680 | RM3,080 | RM3,680 |
Daikin Cassette Prices 2026
For an office, shop or restaurant, a cassette unit mounts into the ceiling and pushes air out in all four directions:
| Type | 2.0HP | 3.0HP | 4.0HP | 5.0HP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cassette Inverter (SkyAir) | RM4,760 | RM5,680 | RM7,200 | RM8,500 |
What Moves the Price
- Piping length — every foot beyond the standard 10ft costs RM30-50
- Installation location — upper floors or awkward access can carry a surcharge
- Wall type — brick versus concrete changes the hacking cost
- Trunking — hiding the piping neatly adds RM150-300
Which Model Is Actually Worth It?
For most Malaysian homes we recommend the Daikin FTKM 1.5HP — it strikes the best balance between price, performance and running cost. If the budget stretches further, SMARTO adds Wi-Fi control and air purification.
For a spare room or a rental property, the FTV-P non-inverter is enough, and it lands RM300-500 below the equivalent inverter.
